Juki Hi-Memory

This is my all time favorite 'oldie'. It has the most unique features of any knitting machine I've ever seen, with the punchcard facility built into the carriage, and the table clamps built right into the bottom of the machine. I just love it! I bought this machine from the original owner, a senior who used to knit matching outfits for her twin girls when they were small. This machine came with the original charting device, all the manuals, punchcards, bits and pieces - even the original vinyl tote bag designed for the charting device. And of course there is the lace carriage (similar to the Brother lace carriages), which came standard with this machine.

KNITMASTER WEAVEMASTER

Picture
The Weavemaster is without a doubt, the kewlest accessory ever designed for a knitting machine - I mean, who thought this one up?? Genius!!! So many neat things to say about this - it was designed before electronic knitting machines were invented, and yet it works brilliantly with them for pattern selection (Teryl Hollins is the lovely woman who deserves the credit for making that discovery, as well as generating a lot of interest and attention to this great device by maintaining the WM Yahoo group). I have a much better understanding of the general principles of hand weaving now, than when I first acquired the Weavemaster, so I'm looking forward to setting it up again to weave on.
